wget question


how can I download something if the user name of the passworded directory is an email address?

user: test@test.com
pass: something

I know this is not possible

http://test@test.com:something@url.com/file.zip


does anyone know a way around this?

Perhasp you could use the options:
--http-user=user
--http-passwd=password

See "man wget" for more info.
