Webmin and localhost

I've installed webmin on SuSE 8.2 and http://localhost:10000 won't connect. The browser just takes me on a merry journey to Google to show me what there is on a search for "localhost".

Clearly, I've forgotten to do something. This is happening on both my desktop box and my SuSe 8.2 laptop.

I installed using the RPM files that came with SuSe.

Thanks

Nope - no proxy for local addressing. Thanks for a quick response, though.

I found that I had to access it through the fully qualified address - localhost.localdomain:1000.

Well. It's sorted ... I removed the rpm provided by SuSE and went to Sourceforge. No problems yet ... I am able to use Webmin.

Thanks for your answers.
