Hi,
I am working in Fedora Core 6, with Mozilla Firefox 1.5.0.7
There is a specific web page that will not load in my browser.
If I go to
www.standardbank.co.za, on the top right of the page, 2nd option is Online Share Trading, I click on it, a new page opens, it constantly looks like it is loading and the status bar says, Waiting for securities.standardbank.co.za.
Its the only page I have found like this so far.
I have IE installed with wine and tried that page, but the same thing happens.
I dont think it is anything to do with my ssl settings either as other secure pages load fine.
And I tried accessing the page from another box that was installed similarly to mine and same problem...
"The Standard Bank website is best viewed with a minimum screen resolution of 800x600, using IE 5 or higher, Firefox 1.0.4 or higher, or Netscape 6 or higher." So I have new enough software.
And other windows boxes using the same proxy can access it no problem.
So i dont think it is their site, it is not the proxy, so its got to be something on my machine...I think.... Any ideas?
