web page software

can someone recommend a good linux/open source program for a beginner to design web pages? nothing too complicated. i'm just looking for an easy-to-use program for putting together a small business web site.

i'll need a home page with company logo, a content page describing our company, and an online form for potential customers to enter their contact information and request a free quote on our services.

i want to use linux/open source and stay away from microsoft front page.

Depending on wheter you are looking for a 'code editor' or a WYSIWIG app I'd suggest you have a look at Bluefish or Quanta+ (code) and Nvu (WYSIWIG)
