VT8235 onboard vga problem with driver


oke first of all im really a noob at linux bud im getting there

i have a pc overhere with a gigabyte RZ 8vm533m-rz(-c) motherboard
on that cursed thing sits a VT8235 chipset and the onboard vga is a via p4m266a/p4m533.

when i try to run x it will boot bud the screen is running on 800x600 @ 59hz
i allready set some values in xorg.conf bud i wont take the settings.
i think that the "vesa" driver or someting must me replaced by my driver bud i dont know with driver i could use.

try't searching the web for it bud without luck

if someone can explain to me how i can fix my x so that it run at 85hz and 1024x786 thx.

specs:
slackware 10.2 (2.4)
iiyama vision master 1024 (will run 1024 @ 85hz with windows)
gigabyte RZ 8vm533m-rz(-c)
chipset: VT8235
onboard vga: p4m266a/p4m533
screen mode: fluxxbox
