VSFTPD Configuration to restrict user browsing

I just installed vsftpd on debian 3.1. It was plain and simple and was able to login to the ftp. I created new user called dazer, was able to login account dazer, however, when I tried to click the .. (suppost to be 1 folder higher) i was able to see all the folder from /home directory and was able to browse them all. I would like to restrict this user and can only access his folder. please help!. thanks

Have a look in your vsftpd.conf file and make sure that the chroot_local_users=YES line is present.
