I am trying to set up qmail, vpopmail and all the works, i have been going off the tutorials and I have everything working fine except i can't install vpopmail. I run configure script with these features:

./configure --enable-auth-module=mysql --enable-auth-logging=n --enable-sql-logging=n --enable-valias=y --enable-logging=e --enable-passwd=n --enable-roaming-users=y --enable-clear-passwd=y

that works fine, or at least i think so, then when I run make i get this error message:

make[2]: *** [libvpopmail_a-vauth.o] Error 1
make[2]: Leaving directory `/var/lib/vpopmail/vpopmail-5.4.13'
make[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/var/lib/vpopmail/vpopmail-5.4.13'
make: *** [all] Error 2

I am not sure what exactly that means, apart from it not working!! If anyone could offer me an explination on the error and even an idea to fix it that would be HUGELY appreciated!!

I have finally worked it out...
there needed to be a file created with all the mysql connection information, i had put all my information in the vmysql.h but now in later versions you have to put it in ~vpopmail/etc/vpopmail.mysql

If anyone else has this problem i hope this helps!!
