virtualbox machine menu option- reset

Hi-

I watched a cool video on installing virtualbox as a guest on fedora 25. After successful install at the very end they went to restart fedora but didn't click restart button just yet. Then to devices menu option and uncheck iso. Then click restart button and finally "machine reset". Why did they need machine reset if they chose restart? Do you need to do machine reset after every restart of fedora as a guest? What about powering down (shutdown) instead of restart/reboot?

thx. mtdew3q

The machine reset is equivalent to pressing a computer's physical reset button. Unchecking the ISO is the equivalent to ejecting a physical disk. I've always followed the installer's instructions and never needed to press reset.
