I understand, it is quite confusing. It is not a real CD. Probably it was a CD long time ago, but now it is just an image of the content of that CD.
You can imagine, it is a virtual CD. So when you configure the VM you need to add a virtual CD drive to it, and need to "insert" a virtual disk into this drive. This image is usually delivered together with the virtualbox software and it has exactly the same version number.
I posted the official page already, you need to follow the steps to install this iso file. The name is: VBoxGuestAdditions.iso (you can find it also on that page)

I found this file : VBoxGuestAdditions_7.0.14
When I try to add it in the VirtualBox, it comes up with an error : Can't Read Extension pack
I used the menu option "Extensions", I don't see a menu "Devices"
As you have confirmed you are NOT running debian, you should remove the debian fasttrack repo from your sources, or if you have you haven't ran `sudo apt update` since then.
It also seems you have now removed the virtualbox package you had installed previously.

What part is strange?
According to the Synaptic Package Manager I have installed 7.0.14-161095-Ubu Oracle VirtualBox, nothing else. Hope this is correct?
But, I still get the following, even AFTER running sudo apt update
