video to ipod


I am currently using fedora core 6 and I was wondering is there a way to move dvd movies or even avi movies to my video ipod 60gig.

Have a look at http://thinliquidfilm.org. It's a gui that will batch encode and upload video to an ipod. It's a very nice little app.
