valknut dc++ installation: cannot open file..

Hey!
I use mandrake 10.0. I downloaded "valknut-0.3.7-1plf.i586.rpm" from internet and gave the installation command. Following error occured:

[chipra@localhost Dcgui_Linux]$ rpm -ivh valknut-0.3.7-1plf.i586.rpm
warning: valknut-0.3.7-1plf.i586.rpm: V3 DSA signature: NOKEY, key ID caba22ae
error: Failed dependencies:
libdc = 0:0.3.7 is needed by valknut-0.3.7-1plf
libdc.so.0 is needed by valknut-0.3.7-1plf

I could not get the warning message produced. I ignored it.
What I could understand was that i am short of some libraries...I went to "http://rpm.pbone.net" searched for "lib.so.0" and downloaded the suitable rpm file.
When I tried to install it I got this kind of error message:

[chipra@localhost Dcgui_Linux]$ rpm -ivh libdc0-0.3.7-1plf.i586.rpm
warning: libdc0-0.3.7-1plf.i586.rpm: V3 DSA signature: NOKEY, key ID caba22ae
error: cannot open lock file ///var/lib/rpm/RPMLOCK in exclusive mode
error: cannot open Packages database in /var/lib/rpm

What to do for this error message?
Here are the contents of my "Dcgui_Linux" directory (my present working directory):

[chipra@localhost Dcgui_Linux]$ ls
dcgui-qt-0.3.2-1.i586.rpm* libdc0-0.3.7-1plf.i586.rpm
dclib-0.3.4-1.i586.rpm* libdc0-devel-0.3.7-1plf.i586.rpm*
dclib-devel-0.3.4-1.i586.rpm* valknut-0.3.4-1.i586.rpm*
libbzip2_1-devel-1.0.2-20.1.102mdk.i586.rpm* valknut-0.3.7-1plf.i586.rpm*

Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you.

Thank you!

Although i got it before u said..but i am now facing another problem!!

It (valknut) starts quite well. I am able to connect to a local hub, I am able to perform the search, but not able to download any file.

I have checked the slot availability. It is downloadable by other clients but not by this valknut???

I have checked that I login in active mode. My IP is also correct.

Any idea???
