Hi all,
I am having this odd problem with the usplash of a certain system. Happens with both Kubuntu and Linux Mint.

I have tried reducing the res of usplash in /etc/usplash.conf and updating the initrd, but doesnt make a difference. What else could this be ? Hoping to solve this without using a different boot splash method.
