Using Newsgroups

I can access newsgroups through Galeon, but I'm not sure if it is Galeon or some other application that is being activated. What I would like to know, is what software should I use to access newsgroups?

Thanks. I also found out that if I bookmarked the (whatever it is) with Galeon, than that also works well. I'll also search around for Pan and see how that works.
