I have a Thinkpad T20 laptop that has a little trackstick (or button you move the mouse with) and an external mouse. When I setup Slack 10.2 I chose USB mouse. The external USB mouse works fine, but if I don't have it hooked up, startx wont boot. I want to be able to use KDE with the built in mouse (trackstick) as well as the mouse depending on what situation I am in at the time. Is this possible?

Also, I haven't really searched for a solution for this question, but, is it possible to get my scroll wheel working on a USB mouse? I have a desktop with Slack 10.2 and a PS/2 mouse and the wheel works great.

Okay, I got the wheel to work. I also made a copy of the entire mouse section and changed the mouse ID to 2 and used "copy core events". I also changed the location of the mouse to /dev/psaux, no luck yet.
