Using Blender as my Design Technology CAD program

Hi
I was just wondering how you could like use Blender as a CAD tool, and that you could precision the messurements in Blender to make the product or what ever you are doing perfect!!
Anyways I know that there is a big chance that Blender wouldn't be able to do CAD, so if there is anything else that is quite User-Friendly then please tell me, as I need it to do my prep.
Oh I almost forgot, umm.....What about Wings3d they look alright??
Thanks in advance!!!!

Blender is a fabulous program, but I don't think it's particularly well-suited to doing CAD stuff. It's not intuitive or easy to specify exact coordinates, dimensions and whatnot in Blender, though I suppose some CAD might not require that kind of precision. There is also the matter that Blender's strength is polygonal modeling, which might not be best if you're trying to design curved surfaces of any kind. NURBs support is getting better, but IMHO is nowhere near as good as it could be. What kind of CAD do you have in mind?

There are lots of other CAD tools to try out. One of them is likely better suited than Blender for that sort of thing.
