Question User restriction on SSH


Hi,

I want to allow only one user to use SSH on the server.
How should I do this?

Do you mean use the ssh client or ssh to the server.

Edit:
/etc/ssh/sshd_config

Add a line with:
AllowUsers USER1 USER2 USER3

Replace "USER1 USER2 USER3" with a list of users who are allowed to login. If a user not in that list tries to login they will be rejected.

one user as it one connection or only one person allowed to ever login? i.e. you....
