(urgent)How to know if jre is installed in RHEL4?

I installed complete RHEL 4 in my machine. But even when i try to install a new application it shows
Bundled jre is binary compatible with host OS/Arch or it is corrupt. Testing bundled jre failed.

the same application get sucessfully installed in a different RHEL machine.

How can i check if jre is properly installed in my machine.

Perhaps the install package became corrupted when you put it onto your new server. Check that it is identical on your existing and new RHEL servers (i.e. where it has installed successfully and where it is failing) using
Code:
sum packagename
  or
md5sum packagename
The results from both servers should be identical if the install packages are both identical.
