upgraded Mandrake 10 kernel to the 2.6.7.2mdk

after upgrading the MDK kernel, I get signal 11 errors on a lot of KDE stuff. After I log in, ksplash gives a signal 11, after exiting the screen saver, kdesktop_lock gives a signal 11, etc. Any ideas how to fix this? Everything works fine, the errors are just annoying. Thanks

ok, out of despiration, I installed the nvidia drivers, and that problem is fixed, but now I am back to the problem i had before that prompted me to try updating my kernel. I can't use an external monitor, and my PC won't shutdown properly (both of which are caused by the nvidia drivers)

Oh Well. I should be able to figure it out in time (probably when the next distro of MDK resolves the issue for me)
