Angry uninstall apt-get


i need to reinstall apt-get because i mistakenly
deleted the data base.
I cant uninstall it :-(
i dont remember which RPM i have installed
and every thing i do to uninstall it, i get an error . . .

I can tell you what not to do. I remember on my old redhat system I was trying to fully rid myself of apt. I decided to do it manually. So I entered this command

rm -rf /usr/lib
I meant to enter this command

rm -rf /usr/lib/apt

what a big oooupsiiiyy :-)

i was tired of it so i got rid of redhat and installed freeBSD. . .
now i am running on BSD . . .
