unexpected exception while running sync-engine in fedora 6
Hello Everyone,
I am trying to build synce-0.13 in fedora 6
I successfully installed sync-engine but on running sync-engine following message is displayed on the terminal
SynCE sync-engine starting up
2009-04-07 16:47:11,002 DEBUG syncengine : running main loop
2009-04-07 16:47:11,003 DEBUG syncengine : creating SyncEngine object
2009-04-07 16:47:11,053 INFO engine.syncengine.kernel : __init__: exception org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.ServiceUnknown: The name org.freedesktop.Hal was not provided by any .service files
2009-04-07 16:47:11,054 DEBUG syncengine : installing signal handlers
and its waiting for device to connect.
Everything is fine but the exception message displayed is normal one or I need to install any further dependencies.
Please suggest if any further settings need to be done before connecting device.
thanks.
Note:
I am still not connected the device nor started odccm in separate terminal.
I followed the url "http://www.synce.org/moin/SynceInstallation/Connecting" where it says If you're using SynCE 0.12 in a recent distribution you're probably using synce-hal, in which case you can skip starting odccm.
