Ubuntu continually loses touchpad
Hi and thanks in advance.
Ever since my last update 2 days ago my touchpad in Ubuntu 12.4 has been losing connectivity.
I know how to quick fix it by going into terminal and
entering in
sudo modprobe -r psmouse
sudo modprobe psmouse
this is fine and dandy but I still lose connectivity randomly after that. Sometimes 30 mins later sometimes 5 seconds later. There does not seem to be any common denominator.
I have tried reinstalling anything that is related to my touchpad. I even tried reinstalling the most recent updates.
Thoughts?
