Tux racer


Ok i have redhat 9 and i installed all the games it comes with, and all the ones ive played worked fine except tux racer it is ungodly slow! has anyone else had this problem. my hardware shouldnt be an issue i dont think. i have a P3 1Ghz, GeForce 4 64mb, 256 megs of pc133 RAM. any help guys? or gals

I think you have to download the display card(GeForce in your case) drivers and install them to enable you to play games using hardware acceleration.

Yes... you must also be experiencing problems with your screensavers and such... all you need to do is download the nVidia drivers and install them.

The default driver coming with Redhat doesn't support 3D. Since the tux racer is a 3D game, you need to download and install the 3D drivers. It's very easy to install. Go to www.nvidia.com

ok i went to do that and i have to choose between the linuxIA32 or the IA64. i have a p3 1ghz which do i get?
