Hi guys I just installed vlc player 0.8.6d on RHEL5 but when ever I try to open a mpeg movie file, it opens on a blank screen for a few seconds and then crashes with no known error. Can any1 help? The debug output is below:

Rite I dnt think its the codex now cause this is the errors I'm gettin when tryin to open a file via the cmd line:

I've tried vlc wit all the availabe interface modules and all it does iz sayz it cnt find it and failed to load. The wxwindows modules in the the gui folder in the install directory so it iz there and permissions r set to read write and exec. HELP!
