Trying to remove evolution


i had a problem in evolution posted in http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...hreadid=375791

but since i wasn't able to solve it , i decided to remove evolution and reinstall it again ...
when i'm trying to remove evolution :

[root@Fedora Downloads]# rpm -e evolution-2.2.2-5
error: Failed dependencies:
libeshell.so.0 is needed by (installed) evolution-connector-2.2.2-5.i386 libeutil.so.0 is needed by (installed) evolution-connector-2.2.2-5.i386
evolution >= 2.2.0 is needed by (installed) evolution-connector-2.2.2-5.i386



i missing some libraries but i'm not able to find these libraries .... anybody can help .. thanks

You can remove it with the command ' rpm -e --nodeps evolution-2.2.2-5 '. This will remove it but will cause a dependiency issue in the rpm database. But since you are going to reinstall it I see no issue. Just reinstall the same version.

It's better if you do "yum remove evolution" and take note of the packages it removes; and then do "yum install evolution evolution-connector ..." along with all the other packages it removed.
