trouble with avidemux and mplex

Working off the mythTV docs, I'm trying to burn a tv show to DVD. I loaded the .nuv file into avidemux2 (v2.1.0). A pop-up informed me that it couldn't find a suitable audio codec for the file, and that saving sound and video together would produce a bad file, but that audio alone should work. Since I wasn't planning on saving audio and video together, I continued on.

I select the first segment, and the docs tell me to save the raw video as *.m2v (where star is the number of that particular segment). Except under File -> Save, there is not a 'Save Raw Video Stream' option. I've tried saving the segments using just 'Save Video', but it was saving sound as well.

Running mplex on the files then gives this output:

~/Downloads/avidemux-2.1.0> mplex -f 8 -o 1.mpg 1.m2v 1.mp2
INFO: [mplex] mplex version 1.8.0 (2.2.4 $Date: 2005/08/28 17:50:54 $)
**ERROR: [mplex] File 1.m2v unrecogniseable!
INFO: [mplex] File 1.mp2 looks like an MPEG Audio stream.
**ERROR: [mplex] Unrecogniseable file(s)... exiting.

Which makes sence, since avidemux told me the file would be bad, so how do I save JUST video?

Problem solved.

I hadn't noticed the box on the left-hand side of the video listing the different formats. When saved as 'mpeg video' and not 'mpeg a+v' mplex works fine.
