Transmission Up/Down Ratio Incorrect

I have a torrent that has 307.1 GB total and has uploaded 137.0 GB, and it gives a ratio of 641,823, which is absurd! I'm pretty sure this was caused by resetting my Transmission setup and re-adding the torrent with the "Set Location" option, but I have no idea how to fix it.

The situation you describe can occur in these circumstances:
  1. start to download a file and terminate transmission before it is completed
  2. restart transmission and finish off the download. begin uploading
  3. ratio is measured based on down and up in that session
I think that is how it happens anyway (maybe there is a bit I missed). Delete the torrent from your client and then reload. The ratio will be fine.
