tightVNC works locally but not remotely?

Hi all,

I installed tightVNC v1.2.9 on my Redhat 7.3 box about a year ago. It was working fine both locally and remotely via my wireless router. Recently it stopped working when I connect remotely via Windows vncviewer, even after I checked my router and made sure ports 5900-5903 are all opened. It still works fine if I connect inside my home network.

Any suggestions?

Mike.

Hook up a computer as a DMZ or just bypass the router completely (plug right into the Cable/DSL modem) and head over to grc.com Run a Shields UP! test to see if your ISP decided to block these ports.

Cool
