Thunderbird bug ?

Hi everyone,

I have been implementing Mozilla Thunderbird 1.0 in my company office, but today came across a strange 'bug' in Thunderbird.

While importing mails from outlook express 6 for one of the users, thunderbird was showing the date of receipt as 01-01-1970, when in outlook express the same mails were being shown as received on 16-02-2005.

Seems to me as a bug in thunderbird...has anone else encountered such an issue ? This in fact is serious because the mail receipt date itself changes. By the way, let me add to this that I noticed this problem after I installed Mozilla Sunbird Calendar application on the users machine. Quite possible that this problem could have been caused by Sunbird.....still i'd appreciate if u guys share your experiences with Thunderbird?

Also, all workstations run Windows XP, mostly with SP2

Thanx and Regards,

--amit
