Question The mythtvfrontend can't log into MySQL from any other user than the mythtv user!

I the following I refer to a linux users and mySQL users. When I says linux user, I mean a user on my linux system. When I say mySQL user, I mean a user in the mySQL database. Also when mythtv is installed via apt-get it automatically makes BOTH a linux and mysql user both which are name "mythtv". Here's my questions: it seems that in Ubuntu that only the mythtv linux user can open up mythfrontend, mythtv-setup or any other graphical part of mythtv. If another linux user tries, like jared in the example below, to open it up the program mythfrontend outputs this:
Code:
jared@Blue:~$ mythfrontend
2006-03-19 02:57:49.151 Using runtime prefix = /usr
2006-03-19 02:57:49.170 XScreenSaver support enabled
2006-03-19 02:57:49.189 New DB connection, total: 1
2006-03-19 02:57:49.200 Unable to connect to database!
2006-03-19 02:57:49.201 Driver error was [1/1045]:
QMYSQL3: Unable to connect
Database error was:
Access denied for user: 'mythtv@localhost' (Using password: YES)

QSqlQuery::exec: database not open
QSqlQuery::exec: database not open
2006-03-19 02:57:49.254 DB Error (KickDatabase):
Query was:
SELECT NULL;
No error type from QSqlError? Strange...
2006-03-19 02:57:49.306 Unable to connect to database!
2006-03-19 02:57:49.306 Driver error was [1/1045]:
QMYSQL3: Unable to connect
Database error was:
Access denied for user: 'mythtv@localhost' (Using password: YES)
It looks like mythtv is trying to login as the mythtv mysql user, but it's running to some sort of problem. It looks like it could be some sort of mysql problem. Does anyone know how to fix this?

P.S let me know if you don't understand my problem, and I'll try to clarify it for you

Thumbs up Sucess!

looks like Captain_Murdoch saved the day on this one. I was talking to people in the mythtv irc channel he recommended that I copy the linux user mythtv's msql.txt (/home/mythtv/.mythtv/mysql.txt) to my other user's .mythtv dir (/home/jared/.mythtv/mysql.txt). Everything works great! Thanks Captain_Murdoch!
