Terminal problems

I am trying to run "anon-proxy,mix" in the terminal. When I press ALT-F2,and choose anon-proxy from the drop down box in the "RUN" box, the terminal comes on for a few seconds, and then disapears from sight and nothing happens. If I try again using another app, then it works perfectly & runs that app. How do I fix this? Thanks verymuch....
