system messages displaying in every display on ini[3]

Hi!
I'm quet new to Linux, and trying get used to text mode.
I've set my FC4 to bootup in runlevel 3, everything seems to be fine, but now, no metter which display I chose (through CTRL+ALT+F1-6) it displaying some system messages, such as
Quote:
crond(pam_unix)[xxxx]: session opened for user XXX by (uid=0)
crond(pam_unix)[xxxx]: session closed for user XXX
and so on, even if I login remotely through SHH, it also displays it...
Very anoying and messing up my screen when I'm trying to copy something.

[edit]
I found the reason: its becaus I have disabled syslog daemon
So, is there any way not to use syslogs and have no this side effect?

Thank you.

You should *not* disable the syslog daemon by default if you have errors because it will contain important information.
If you don't want any errors tyo show up edit /etc/syslog.conf and comment out the "/dev/console" line then restart syslog. If you only want to show errors above a certain level edit the priority (man syslog.conf).

Well, I was thinking about this and thought, if there a way to let it show messages in a specific display, so I can use for example 2-6 displays and see the messages in display 1?

Thank you.
