system calls related to disk access

can sumone plz give me a complete list of the system calls(according to linux kernel 2.6.18 or above) that require disk access.

For eg. read sys call makes a disk access when it doesnt find the page in page cache.

in the list provided above i cannot guess which sys call will access disk internally for any reason.

All your posts so far seem to be just homework questions. Some people will help you with specific questions, but a vague "somebody please tell me everything and only everything" won't usually get you very useful answers. Do some research, narrow down the scope of your questions and then ask them if you like, but don't expect anyone here to do the kind of research it takes to answer this question.
