SYSLINUX on fat32 USB-Stick partition ?

Hello,

Using SYSLINUX 3.86
From changelog:
Quote:
Changes in 3.00
SYSLINUX: Support FAT32 and EDD.
Could someone confirm that SYSLINUX could be installed on fat32 partition ?

So I formated my USB-Stick as fat32 and tried to install SYSLINUX from windows:
Code:
>syslinux.exe -m -a -d / f:
And I got GUI error message:
Code:
The wrong volume is in the drive. Please insert volume USB2 into drive F:.
I have no trouble installing like this on fat16.

I could try to install from linux environment..
Anybody have any idea why this is happening ?

thanks
Vilius

I've never installed syslinux from windows, but I have from Linux. It worked perfectly. Try a Linux install.

Yes. I was experimenting with a linux distro, and I installed it on a fat32 flash drive. It installed without errors.
