Symlink to html file shows a blank page in browser

Hey all, I'm trying to get some html files on my Linux server to be seen by Windows machines. I have a working Samba share that I'm using to move files to and from this server, CentOS 5.8. I put the symlink in there using:

Code:
[root@link mrtg]# ln -s /home/httpd/mrtg/192.168.2.19_1.html /Shares/Jobee/2848OSRack_1.html
The symlink shows as a nice, light blue color:

Code:
[root@link Jobee]# ls -l
total 2224
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root  root      36 Sep 10 10:23 2848OSRack_1.html -> /home/httpd/mrtg/192.168.2.19_1.html
I know the symlink works because I can open it locally using my Firefox. I had thought that it was a permissions issue but I'm not getting any error messages, just a blank page. Any ideas on how to get this working, or a better way to give Windows users access to my html files? Oh, my Apache version is:

Code:
[root@link conf]# /usr/sbin/httpd -v
Server version: Apache/2.2.3
Server built: Jun 6 2012 10:00:36
Thanks,

Joe B

Let me clarify -- I can see the html file just fine from my CentOS server, but when I view it from a Windows machine I get a blank page.

I've confirmed that my httpd.conf file contains the following line:

Code:
Options Indexes FollowSymLinks
Anything else I should be looking for?

Thanks,

Joe B

Ok, I figured out how to do this. Kind of. I set my mrtg folder as a Samba share and now it's viewable from my workstation. I set the path statement in smb.conf to /path/to/mrtg, restarted the smbd and nmbd services, changed the folder ownership to me (I don't know how to do groups yet -- that's coming later) and there it was. I'm sure there are ways of seeing these files that are a little more "polished" but at least it's working. Now I just need to create an MRTG web page that points to each port that I want to monitor.

Thanks,

Joe B
