Sybase ASE Express startup issue

Hi

I thought I'd road test Sybase's free Linux offering today. Well, the install went well, and the server started itself up at the end of the install - I was able to create tables, run stored procs etc etc.

Then I rebooted and tried to start it up again and got this:
opt/sybase/ASE-12_5/install/RUN_LAPTOP: line 16: 7354 Segmentation fault /opt/sybase/ASE-12_5/bin/dataserver -d/opt/sybase/data/master.dat -e/opt/sybase/ASE-12_5/install/LAPTOP.log -c/opt/sybase/ASE-12_5/LAPTOP.cfg -M/opt/sybase/ASE-12_5 -sLAPTOP

Any ideas anyone?

I'm running it on SUSE 9.1, which I know is not cetified by Sybase, but it ought ot work, expecially as it worked once!
