SWAP memory size


I have a Red hat system , how do I know the SWAP memory size in the system ? thx

You can get your kernel version by typing:
uname -r
in a terminal.

to see how big your swap file is...you can type:
free

That will give you total, how much is used and how much is free. Both physical memory and Swap.
