spamassassin and sendmail

Hello,

We are looking for a method to block spam mails on the linux server itself.

On searching the forum we found spamassassin being mentioned quite often in this connection.

HOwever, what we could not discover was whether spamassassin works with sendmail?! The spamassassin page is not quite clear about this.

Does anybody have any experience with sendmail and spamassassin?

I know of other spam filters that work with sendmail. I'm not sure about spamassassin. Do you care what program you use?

No, not at all! We only came acress spamassassin quite often. Which programmes would you know that work with sendmail? We are grateful for any hint in this direction

Here is probably one of the better programs I can think of. Are you just looking for freeware, or do you have a budget of some sort?

We are not just looking for freeware but we are looking for a reliable solution for our server with several domains which we host.
We have contacted the company you recommended.
Do you have any experience in configuring the spam feature in sendmail yourself ?
