About GYachE Improved (a.k.a. GYachI)

Welcome to the home of GyachE Improved (GyachI) program. This is a fork from Gyach Enhanced Yahoo! client for Linux operating systems. It was born purely out of impatience. Since there was no progress on Gyach Enhanced for about a year, a couple of impatient GYach Enhanced users decided to continue development of that client, fearing that original author Erica Andrews lost interest or abandoned project altogether. Therefore, in the true spirit of Open Source we, the developers, thought of simply "carrying on the torch".

This Yahoo! client for Linux operating system supports almost all of the features you would expect to find on the official Windows Yahoo! client: Voice chat, webcams, faders, 'nicknames', audibles, avatars, display images, and more. Yet, it remains very light-weight and memory-friendly. GyachE Improved uses Gtk-2 for its user interfaces (Gtk-2 2.0.6 or better required).

Description
With Glom you can design table definitions and the relationships between them, plus arrange the fields on the screen. You can edit and search the data in those tables, and specify field values in terms of other fields. It's as easy as it should be. The design is loosely based on FileMaker Pro, with the added advantage of separation between interface and data. Its simple framework should be enough to implement most database applications. Without Glom these systems normally consist of lots of repetitive, unmaintainable code.

Note: to use self-hosting databases, please install postgresql-8.2 locally also.

Bond is a rapid application development framework for building applications for the linux desktop and the web. Using bond you can quickly build database forms for Gnome Linux, or the web via standard HTML and AJAX or for windows using our win32 version.

Bond uses a XML file for defining widget layout and database interactions. C Programmes can be linked against the application for running custom functions. Postgresql is used as the backend SQL database, though more SQL providers will be supported in the future.

Bond dynamically populates widgets making them data-aware automatically at run time. It removes the need for writing code to populate and manage both GTK and html widgets. There is no need for code changes between the web and desktop. Applications written using bond will work in both environments as long as no direct api calls are made to GTK within your programme.

Bond is stable and production ready and is deployed in a variety of industries. It is used as a front-end to high use databases that operate around the clock. The GTK version is stable for windows and linux.

Rekall is a graphical database front-end. It allows you to design and use forms and reports, construct database queries, and import and export data. You can also create reusable components that you can use in forms and reports to reduce application development time.

Rekall can be scripted using the Python language. You can arrange that a script is executed when various events occur (for instance, when the user changes the value of a control), but you can also store scripts in script modules for more general use. Plus, Rekall has an integrated Python debugger with syntax highlighting.

Rekall is, however, not itself a database and does not include a database. The data is stored somewhere else in an SQL server, and Rekall is merely a tool to extract, display, and update that data. Currently, PostgreSQL, MySQL, ODBC, and XBase are supported as database backends.
