scoban Member Registered: Nov 2004 Location: Turkey Distribution: Slackware Posts: 145 Rep:	Sendmail smtp auth with excahnge 2010 Hi, I am trying to configure a linux client to send mail through exchange 2010 smarthost. I followed the configuration instructions here: http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...-howto-224543/ But I have some problems. I want to send mail through exchange 2010 with a user called userA. I defined this user in exchange and also put this user and password in authinfo file. When I send an email from console as root, sendmail checks and cannot find root authinfo so authentication fails. How can I make root send mail and authenticate to exchange using userA and its password? How can I debug future problems?
