I've been hunting around the web for awhile without any hits so I figured I would see if anyone on linuxquestions had some ideas.
I have an email server, and on that I have a varity of users which have .forward files. So when an email comes in it goes to everyone on their .forward list. However when it gets to its final reciepients it appears to have come from the user with the .forward file. I would like it such that the original sender is preserved.
email is sent from
A@internet.com to
B@mailserver.com
B@mailserver takes this email and sends it to
C@internet.com
That is what currently happens. What I would like to happen is when it gets to
C@internet.com, it looks as though it came from
A@internet.com
Sorry for the confusing post.
Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks,
Michael
