sendmail
I have a asterisk machine configured. and the voicemail to e-mail is not working. it all boils down to the sendmail config.
here is a cut from the log:

i take it the problem is DSN: Data format error, which i believe is to do with /etc/hosts
my hosts looks like:
# Do not remove the following line, or various programs
# that require network functionality will fail.
127.0.0.1 asterisk1.local asterisk1 localhost
i have a dsl line with a dynamically assigned ip.
my local-host-names is empty
please help
