LINUX SCREENSAVERS

Hi,
I have written a screensaver program and i wish to run it with other xscreensaver programs,i have compiled my program, run it and copied the executable file to "/usr/X11R6/lib/xscreensaver". 'testscreensaver' is the executable file for my screensaver program. I have put this file But my screensaver does not appear when i run the xscreensaver-demo command. I just want to make my program run as an xscreensaver does. Can you suggest me a solution.
Thanks in advance.

Look at /etc/X11/app-defaults/XScreenSaver, which is the default for ~/.xscreensaver
