sasl + mysql
Hi.
Can't get sasl working with mysql.
I'm using postfix and courier-imap over mysql. Both are ok.
But can't get sasl working. It simply says
Dec 16 14:34:25 gate postfix/smtpd[30422]: warning: SASL authentication failure: no secret in database
Dec 16 14:34:25 gate postfix/smtpd[30422]: warning: smtp.tehexergo.ru[192.168.0.2]: SASL CRAM-MD5 authentication failed
an so on..
/etc/postfix/main.cf:
# SASL
# auth stuff
#
smtpd_sasl_auth_enable = yes
smtpd_sasl_security_options = noanonymous
smtpd_sasl_local_domain =
broken_sasl_auth_clients = yes
smtpd_client_restrictions = permit_sasl_authenticated
smtpd_sender_restrictions = permit_sasl_authenticated
smtpd_recipient_restrictions =
permit_mynetworks,
permit_sasl_authenticated,
check_relay_domains
/usr/lib/sasl2/smtpd.conf:
auxprop_plugin: mysql
pwcheck_method: auxprop
mysql_user: root
mysql_passwd:
mysql_hostnames: localhost
mysql_database: mail
mysql_statement: SELECT passwd FROM users WHERE email='%u@%r'
mysql_verbose: yes
Examining mysql logs tells that sasl does not even try to connect to mysql.
