Runnning KDevelop 3.4.x and Gnome 2.16.2 Alongside Each Other

Dear Community,

I have a fetish for Gnome and since school is out of session, I am upgrading my system. I have been running a plethora of tools including gcc/g++ until I was over at a buddies house who runs kde. Now is it possible to run Kdevelop under Gnome or to I have to switch to KDE to run it?

You can run any programs in whatever DE you choose. In this instance, you will need to install qt and the kde libraries because Kdevelop needs them.

So I don't have to run Kdevelop through KDE, which, although hidden, was my main question. id est I can have Gnome as my DM but have Kdevelop running without having to shutdown gnome and starting up KDE?
