Running Mandrake 10.1 on a x86


I have an old 486 computer and would like to test linux out on it. Will Mandrake install on my powerful pentium 166 with MMX Technology???!!

Hell why not just try it? I seem to recall reading stuff from people who've used similar kit, though it can occasionally be a little slow, I suppose it depends on how much ram it's got.

I managed to get mandrake 9.1 running OK on a Pentium mmx 200mhz with 96 megs of ram, but it as I said, it was a little slow, especially using kde.
