Question running apollon

when I try to run apollon on my slackware 9 machine, I get the following:

root@bryce:/home/bryce# apollon
sh: line 1: iceauth: command not found
ICE Connection rejected!

DCOPClient::attachInternal. Attach failed Authentication Rejected, reason : None of the authentication protocols specified are supported and host-based authentication failed
ICE Connection rejected!

DCOPClient::attachInternal. Attach failed Authentication Rejected, reason : None of the authentication protocols specified are supported and host-based authentication failed
DCOPServer self-test failed.
sh: line 1: iceauth: command not found
kdeinit: DCOPServer could not be started, aborting.
ERROR: KUniqueApplication: Can't setup DCOP communication.
root@bryce:/home/bryce#

I installed it using the full package that supposedly comes with everything it needs. If it comes with everything, then why wont this work?

Thank you

First things first, I havn't gotten Apollon to run under anything other than KDE. So I would try installing the apollon part while in KDE. Also, have you configured giFT yet?

Yes, I've installed all of the plugins that apollon offered to install. Are there any plugins that I need that didnt come with Apollon?

I recently upgraded all of my computers to slack because I liked it so much, just forgot to update my profile

I don't know, man. Did you get any errors while compiling? Here's the order that I installed everything:

giFT > Gnutella > OpenFT >FastTrack > Apollon

I would try installing giFTcurs and see if that works.
