Resume builder program?

Hi, I'm just wondering if anyone knows any good resume builder programs for linux. I run Fedora Core 5. I'm looking to build a good resume, but so many sites claim to be free, but then want me to pay later. I know you guys are experts at finding free software. Thanks for your help.

Fire up Open Office and use any word resume template. Search engines should return a few million or so... I prefer to make up my own format so it looks like I'm either a pirate or I was raised by wolves, which is actually close to the truth...

I used a simple method to obtain a resume template. I downloaded and installed one from the MS Office website to a windows computer, started the resume in word, saved the file (just a few words ), emailed it to myself, downloaded it to my linux box and opened it in OO writer. I finished the resume and had the benefit of having a template for a resume.
All you need for this is a windows box with word installed (and access to it) and 2 email accounts.

Or you could check the Open Office Templates site and download templates for openoffice.
