Question Replication of OpenNMS server two different location.


Hi,

I have a query with OpenNMS, i was install OpenNMS application on two different location, which work perfectly i want know it is possible, my both server monitor to each other if one is down second one is send notification and monitor the remote network and when server is come to online just monitor the server only,

This both server is behind the hardware firewall and different location also different OS plat form(One on Ubuntu + Window 2008 R2)

The subject of your post is different from what you're asking. Which do you want?

Again, if you tried looking at the OpenNMS documentation, you'd find there are documented solutions on making OpenNMS run in HA mode, over two servers:

If you just want the servers to monitor each other, then why is that any different than setting them up as just another client?? Set server A up as a client on server B, and vice-versa. If one goes down, you'll get alerts.
