Replacement for Jupiter power manager on Debian

Hi there,

I used and loved the Jupiter power manager, it really save the battery, I especially like the 'on demand' mode which save battery and still allows max performance whenever I needed it, but unfortunately Jupiter is no longer maintained, I can't find any other similar power manager can do the same, at least not as user friendly, any suggestion ?
