I'd like to map my middle mouse button in x, so that it performs a double-click action i.e. when I click my middle mouse button, it would be the same as a double-left-click. How can I accomplish this?
I am not 100% sure but if anything could do it, imwheel should. I don't know of any alternatives. I heard rumours of xwheel being the next-gen imwheel... but I havn't seen anything about it.
Its been a while since I configured it but there is ok documentation on how to do it.
You can set up actions for all the buttons on your mouse for default and and even application specific settings.
